In this single tower, the large boulders of the base give way to tighter upper courses, drawing an imperfect geometry that follows the curves of the terrain and the flow of the Mediterranean scrub.
Crossing the threshold, surmounted by a heavy lintel that seems to crush the space, means making a sharp leap in temperature and light. The access corridor preserves the niche for the sentinel and the invitation for the staircase that led to the upper floor, while the inner chamber maintains the suggestion of the original dome.
