Gulf of Orosei

Gulf of Orosei

Many of you already know this area for its wild coastline, with a sea and beaches ranked among the most beautiful in the world. Others have discovered it through its natural symphony, where canyons, plateaus, lush green oases, and record-breaking caves perform a music that is universally admired and celebrated.
But for those who have not yet had this pleasure, Sardenya is proud to present to you the Gulf of Orosei!

It could easily be said that beaches like Cala Goloritzè, Cala Mariolu, Cala Biriola, Cala Sisine, Cala Luna, and Cala Fuili alone would be enough to define this area as blessed by divine grace. Yet if we also add a collection of natural gems such as the Golgo Plateau, Su Gorroppeddu, the Bue Marino Cave, the Fico Cave, and Ispinigoli Cave—each set within striking limestone cliffs that frame the coast—we find ourselves in a land kissed not only by fortune, but also by a nature that here has chosen to express itself in its purest beauty.

And to complete the picture, could authentic, evocative villages and sites rich in prehistoric and Nuragic heritage possibly be missing? Of course not. In Urzulei, Dorgali, Galtellì, Cala Gonone, and Orosei, you can immerse yourself in the colors and atmosphere of ancient traditions that embody the soul of a people. Meanwhile, in archaeological sites such as Serra Orrios, S’Ena ‘e Thomes, and the Betilo of Golgo, you will uncover the history and origins from which this soul and this people were born.
