Excavated inside a massive outcropping of limestone rock, this late prehistoric hypogeum burial demonstrates the great skill of ancient local stonemasons. Access takes place via a short corridor that leads to a squared opening, having crossed which one finds oneself immediately in the main chamber. Around this central environment open small hand-carved lateral niches to welcome the deceased and their grave goods. The smoothing of the internal walls reflects the desire to reproduce in miniature the domestic environments of the era, offering a symbolic and familiar shelter to the souls of the departed.
Having preserved this monument among today's streets and houses provides a truly unique visual impact.
