Around the main megaron temple, not only an area of prayer developed, but a true metallurgical citadel equipped with melting furnaces, cooling basins, and workshops.
The copper ingots, manufacturing waste, and imported ceramics discovered by archaeologists demonstrate that this mountain pass constituted a fundamental hub for Mediterranean trade. Metal casting and religious devotion merged into a single activity, transforming the site into one of the most advanced manufacturing and spiritual centers of Nuragic Sardinia.
