Immersed in dense vegetation and surrounded by ancient woods and the lush Mediterranean maquis that characterize the territory of Suni, the Seneghe nuraghe presents itself as a fine, intact, and evocative example of a single-tower nuraghe.
The megalithic structure shows with extraordinary clarity the massive and compact shape of the original tower, built with large and heavy blocks of local volcanic basalt, carefully hewn and stacked dry according to the most typical canons of prehistoric Sardinian engineering.
The main entrance, clearly visible on the lower elevation of the construction, leads directly into the interior chamber of the tower, while the imposing and high pile of collapsed boulders crowning the summit testifies to the building's original volumetric grandeur and the sophisticated tholos construction technique that once closed the upper chamber.
