Cala Ginepro reveals itself as a mosaic of small sandy coves strung along a rugged coastline. The beach is gently broken up by rocky outcrops and flat granite shelves that reach out into the sea, dividing the shoreline into a series of pale, fine-sand crescents. These dark rock formations serve as natural barriers between the coves while providing sturdy perches for those who prefer smooth stone over sand.
The sea is strikingly clear right from the shore, exposing the pale grains on the seabed and isolated rocks sitting just below the surface. Moving further out, the water brightens into intense turquoise and azure tones, creating a vivid contrast with the darker patches of Posidonia seagrass and the white sand beneath. Sheltering the coves, the flanking rock formations frame these crystalline waters to offer a diverse setting for swimming and snorkeling.
Just behind the beach, a dense barrier of lush green Mediterranean scrub hugs the coast, pushing almost down to the water's edge.
