Bucca 'e Strumpu Beach (Spiaggia di Bucca 'e Strumpu) stretches along the coast of Bari Sardo as a wide band of medium-coarse golden sand, mixed with smooth little pebbles right at the water's edge. The coastline is straight and completely open, free of rocks or headlands to interrupt the view, allowing the sea to reflect the light with striking clarity.
The water reveals crystal clarity right from the shallow shore, displaying the grains on the seabed before the depth drops off and the color shifts to a deep cobalt blue. Immediately behind the beach, a dense, lush pine forest forms a continuous green barrier, providing a generous area of natural shade to retreat to during the hottest hours of the day.
Gazing south, the beach opens into an unobstructed panorama that reaches as far as the iconic Torre di Barì and the contours of the Ogliastra mountains in the distance. Thanks to the impressive width of the shoreline, visitors enjoy abundant breathing room between towels, making the beach comfortable, easily accessible, and never overly crowded.
