A Natural Monument of incredible importance. Don’t believe it? Then take a look at its credentials.

These basalt formations of volcanic origin are so rare that, apart from Sardinia, in Italy they can only be found in Veneto and Sicily, and in Europe only in Iceland. Among all of these, the ones in Guspini stand out as some of the most remarkable and significant—both for their strikingly detailed shapes and for their imposing appearance, rising as high as 20 meters and forming a spectacular “organ pipe” wall.
A beauty and rarity so dazzling that the European Union has classified this area as a World Heritage Site for its scientific and naturalistic value.
And all of this, right in the heart of the town of Guspini, alongside the main road at the entrance of the town, on the hill of Cuccureddu ’e Zeppara (167 m above sea level).

If you’re a collector of images of the world’s rarest and most beautiful places, then from today your collection has gained a true gem.
