Arreu in S'Isula

My name is Simone, and I am an Environmental Hiking Guide. I grew up in a small village in south-central Sardinia, surrounded by wheat fields and the animals of my family’s farm.

After graduating in Territorial Development from the University of Cagliari, I spent several periods abroad working and traveling. Perhaps it was the distance from home that made my love for my land grow even stronger.
So I decided to do something for it, trying to connect the different stages of my life and studies. What better way to contribute to the development of one’s own territory than by sharing it with visitors through the words and stories of someone who truly lives and studies it? From this desire, the Arreu in s’Isula project was born.

Today I work throughout much of Sardinia, although I specialize in the historic region where I grew up: the Marmilla, an area often underestimated despite its extraordinary cultural and environmental potential.
