The dog-friendly area of Arborea lies along the reclaimed coastline of Sardinia's former marshlands, situated on a stretch of shore managed by the municipality specifically for visitors traveling with pets.

Unlike traditional beaches where dogs are restricted or prohibited during summer months, this area is regulated to allow pets in complete safety and compliance with local laws. Spaces between setups are intentionally generous to prevent tension among dogs and give everyone room to move around freely.
Access is made easy by paths running through Arborea's century-old pine forest, a massive green barrier planted during the 1930s land reclamation projects. The pine grove behind the beach offers abundant natural shade just meters from the shore, providing an essential retreat for pets to rest during the hottest hours and for families to enjoy picnics out of the sun.

The area comes equipped with pet-focused amenities, including water bowls, drinking fountains, and waste disposal bins. Thanks to its close proximity to the road network across the Arborea plain, the beach is easy to reach by car, making it a go-to spot for anyone wanting to enjoy a day at the sea with their dog without time constraints or fine worries.
