A long crescent of medium-grained golden sand, mingled with smooth pebbles, faces the clear waters of the Gulf of Angels. Located in the municipality of Maracalagonis along the coastal road toward Villasimius, Baccu Mandara Beach (Spiaggia di Baccu Mandara) forms the direct continuation of the Torre delle Stelle shoreline, separated from it by a rocky headland that shelters the bay from prevailing winds.

The sea stands out for its shifting shades, blending seamlessly from vibrant emerald green to deep cobalt blue. Its clear, transparent seabed drops off fairly quickly just a few meters from the shore, making the bay a favorite spot for swimming, snorkeling, and sea fishing. Behind the beach, rolling hills clad in fragrant Mediterranean scrub frame the landscape with a lush backdrop.

Despite its scenic natural setting, the beach offers excellent amenities. Visitors can find beach bars, sunbed and paddleboat rentals, and spacious parking areas just a short walk from the shoreline. This blend of comfort and natural charm makes it ideal for families as well as those looking to explore the southern coast. Its location allows for an easy beach-hopping itinerary to nearby coves like Cann'e Sisa, Kal'e Moru, and Geremeas.
