On the Sa Serra plateau in Orotelli, the Nuraghe Aeddos stands with cyclopean grandeur, built entirely from large blocks of local granite.

This complex, trilobed structure features a majestic central tower surrounded by three smaller towers connected by a robust bastion. The main entrance reveals a trapezoidal threshold topped by a large lintel that leads into a spacious internal corridor.
Walking through the interior spaces allows visitors to observe significant construction details, such as the staircase built into the thickness of the masonry and niches that preserve traces of ancient habitation. The main tower retains much of its original height, offering an intact glimpse into Bronze Age megalithic architecture. Its elevated position also provides commanding views of the surrounding vegetation that envelops the monument.

The scenic landscape surrounding this millennial structure enhances the discovery of the site, which is protected within a municipal green area. Every well-fitted stone block tells of the mastery of ancient Sardinian populations who were capable of shaping fortresses destined to defy the centuries and preserve their mysterious charm intact.
